Since 1948, Envision Unlimited has been a guiding light, offering unwavering support and hope to individuals with disabilities. Their mission is to provide comprehensive services that promote choice, independence, and inclusion for people with disabilities. Envision Unlimited is a valued partner in our network, providing crucial mental health services to adolescents and adults aged 13 and older. Their specialized trauma-informed care has made a significant impact on our community members dealing with complex issues.

Community Living Envision Unlimited offers various residential arrangements to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). These include 24-hour Community Integrated Living Arrangements (CILA), intermittent CILA, host family programs, and supportive housing. Additionally, they have five residential homes on the Northside of Chicago, providing a group home setting. Each option is designed to foster independence while ensuring a supportive and inclusive environment. They also offer home-based case management and psychosocial rehabilitative programming for individuals living in the residential homes who do not want or meet appropriateness for day programming at their Ravenswood office.
Day Programs The organization provides day programs that offer opportunities for community engagement, personal interest development, and vocational skill-building. These programs are available at multiple locations across the Chicago area, helping members to build support networks and pursue their passions.
Employment Services Envision Unlimited is dedicated to helping its members find fulfilling employment. They offer job readiness training, job placement services, and ongoing support to ensure that individuals can achieve and maintain meaningful employment.
Mental Health Services Recognizing the importance of mental health, Envision Unlimited operates a certified Community Mental Health Provider. They offer a full range of behavioral health services to address various mental health concerns, helping clients lead their best and most meaningful lives.
Specialized Foster Care Children with disabilities often face unique challenges and Envision Unlimited Specialized Foster Care program is designed to meet these needs. The program focuses on the wellness of each child and provides support to foster families, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
ABA Services for Adults Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services are available to individuals across various environments, including home, community, and vocational programs. Behavior Analysts provide ongoing support to help individuals achieve their goals.
Expanding Impact Recently, Envision Unlimited has expanded its services to reach more people across Illinois, increasing its social impact and providing more opportunities for individuals with disabilities to live fulfilling lives.

Our recent BH performance report shows their clients have frequent, consistent visits, which is essential for effective mental health treatment. Their approach has proven successful in keeping patients out of emergency departments and inpatient facilities, demonstrating the power of accessible, community-based care.
